A doll, usually a 1984 Vogue Ginny Doll ™ used as a surrogate for a real person. For a Dowey to exist there must be two components, both a doll AND a host. A host is a person that the doll is personifying. Without this host, the doll is just and object and not a Dowey. Dowey's are always happy and are all friends.
